Refunds due to any of life’s challenges (or simply if you changed your mind) will be honored for the first 24 hours after purchase.

If after 6 months from the start date of a Your DNA Guide Academy offering in which you have fully participated (meaning you have watched and marked “complete” each video tutorial, completed the classwork and homework, and have asked for help on the discussion boards), but are not more confident in this ‘using-DNA’ thing, I will refund the full cost.
DNA Study Group
Cancellation policy:
To cancel your subscription, please contact info@yourdnaguide.com.
If you are on a monthly subscription, your membership will terminate immediately and you will be removed from the Study Group space in Circle. Thus, any access to videos past the end of the current billing period will not be granted.
If you paid for a full year upfront, you will receive a refund of the initial amount minus the number of month’s access of Study Group of which you were a part (at the monthly fee) plus any processing fees.
Cancelling a member’s subscription also removes access to the Study Group space group in Circle. Please Note: Canceling a subscription does not automatically deactivate a member’s Circle account nor remove access to any free or purchased spaces within the Study Group community learning platform on Circle at my.yourdnaguide.com.
Extended Video Access:
Extended Video Access privileges are contingent upon maintaining membership in the Study Group cohort for which you purchased Extended Access (April 2025 – March 2026).
If you cancel Study Group membership before March 2026, this will automatically cancel your Extended Access–and there are NO REFUNDS on Extended Access.
On-Demand Courses
Our refund policy for on-demand courses such as WATO and Shared Matches of Matches is different from our other Courses. Because it is entirely on-demand, without a live (timely) component, scheduling conflicts do not apply as a reason for returns.
The course descriptions are very clear about who the course is for (what level of education is prerequisite); please read them and consider carefully your readiness before purchasing. If you find that you’re not quite ready after starting the course, we encourage you to keep learning and then come back to it. You have indefinite access to your on-demand courses, and at some point, you will be ready!
DNA Skills Workshop

What about refunds due to changes in your schedule?
Your DNA Guide understands that life happens, even with the best intentions! That is one reason that with your purchase of a Your DNA Guide–the Academy Course or Workshop, you will retain access to the videos, course materials and discussion boards for the lifetime of Your DNA Guide! (Wow! That’s a L O N G time!) That means that if something comes up and you are unable to complete the course within the “suggested” time frame, that’s ok.
These Academy offerings are supported by an online eLearning platform which provides you an option to complete the course at your leisure should you be unable to attend any live Q&A sessions. All live classes are recorded and made available in your personal courses page. You retain access to these materials for as long as we offer the Academy. Furthermore, the eLearning platform houses prerecorded video instruction, real life case studies and a discussion board for ongoing conversations with experts and fellow students. A full-length, printable-PDF workbook bundles the classwork, homework and research log into a convenient, all-in-one textbook and reference guide for you to consult and continue to refer to in the future. Please Note: Many students who complete the courses in a totally remote manner achieve great success in their skill development and with their research goals.
Please consult the following options when life’s changes begin to unravel your best laid plans:
1. Prior to the Workshop start. Upon receipt of the DNA Skills SWAG box, a $99 cancellation fee will be assessed to the processing of the cancellation for the Skills Workshop.
2. After the kickoff meeting. Because the recordings are available for the lifetime of the Workshop offering, and the discussion board is open all hours to answer your questions, and will be monitored by coaches for six months after the course concludes, refunds will not be granted due to unexpected changes in your schedule once the Workshop has begun.
